he capped 5 appearances for Liverpool.
Due to his unnoticeable presence at Anfield, the midfielder was loaned out to Norwich City in March, 2011 and later spent two more loan spells at Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.
After rejoining the Reds ranks following the completion of his deal with Vallecano, the 21-year old unravelled his hunger of getting a taste of first team football, and vowed to make an impression on the manager during the club’s pre-season friendly fixtures.
He told the reporters in an interview, “I hope to make an impression. I am trying to work as hard as I can, trying to do my best to impress our new manager. Hopefully I can do that over the next few games and then seasons.”
The midfielder also revealed that upon making his return to Anfield, he felt as if he had never left the club, citing the warm reception that he received from the rest of his team-mates.
During his time away from Merseyside, the diminutive player made 17 club appearances and netted 2 goals.
Talking of the time that he spent on loan, Pacheco indicated that it proved to be an invaluable experience for him, and he has now become a much a better player.
“I got a lot of experience.  But I didn't play as much as I'd expected and I also had an injury for three and a half months which kept me off the pitch for a long time. But I learned a lot and I think I am back here stronger,” he added.
The former Barcelona youth then went on to say that even though he came across a few opportunities during his career, he never actually got the chance to leave his mark at any club, and was hopeful that his hard work at Liverpool will translate in results
for him.
