Packing for a Trip?

Question

I am leaving for cape cod pretty soon here.......What are some things I should bring to wear?

PS: Ive never been there before-you probably guessed that.

Cape Cod is pretty much like other seaside communities. If you want to go to both the beach AND do the shopping/touristy stuff, here's what I would take:

- swimsuit

- beach towel (optional since it's bulky, if you roll it tightly it fits better)

- sunglasses/beach hat

- sunscreen for daytime & bug repellant for night

- a swimsuit coverup or casual dress - the idea is if you want to go out to lunch right after the beach, you can dress appropriate over your swimsuit

- flip flops

- flat or practical shoes for walking around/shopping

- a light sweater for cold restaurants or sea breeze at night

- at least one dressier dress or outfit for a nice restaurant

- lots of tank tops, shorts, and summer skirts for shopping, casual restaurants, etc

- MOST ideal would be a simple jersey knit dress that you could dress up w/ jewelry or dress down with minimal jewelry.

If you're trying to pack light, it helps if your clothes are as versatile as possible, and also as low-maintenance as possible (ie lots of knits, things that you don't have to iron).  Have fun!

ok the website that im am about to give u is amaizing! this guy blogs about everything you need to know about traveling! you could add some extra stuff too! it helped me alot!! there is a list around that website! look at the bottom if i remember correctly so it should be around there.. but it helps a lit! hoped i have helped!
