Packing for a sleepover?

I'm going to my friends house for a sleepover tomorrow but first we will be going to Regatta and town (regatta is like a fair and fireworks and stuff) so im going to be carrying my stuff around all that time. So how can I pack light and take it around with me? I'm 14
