what are your thoughts? if he didnt knockdown Marquez early in the fight, do you think it would have ended in another Draw? score scards were 115-113 Marquez, 115-113 Pacquiao, 114-113 Pacquiao.

You gotta give it to Pac-Man.  He scored the only knockdown in the fight and kept fighting hard with the cut on his eye.

I scored the fight 114-113 for Manny Pacquiao, I was surprised how well Manny boxed down the stretch.  It was a great fight between two true warriors.  The second cut Marquez suffered late in the fight was pretty serious, I was amazed the ring doctor didn't consider stopping it based on the cut, it looked like Marquez had a second eyelid opening over his eye.  Juan Manuel sacked up and drove on like the champion he is, a lesser man would have folded.  Great effort on the part of both men.

The knockdown was the difference in my opinion, and it was a fair decision, but if they had called it another draw I wouldn't have complained, it was at least as good a fight if not better than the Vasquez/Marquez fight last month.  Tough year for the Marquez brothers, they both ended up on the short end of two spectacular ring gems.

The best part of the whole broadcast was we didn't have to tolerate the incessent prattling of Kellerman, HBO gave us a break from that twit and dusted off Merchant's old self for one more classic.  All and all it was a great night.
