Paintball for beginners?

Question

I've been paintballing with my friends, but only using the local park's rental guns, masks, etc. I was wondering about affordable, entry-level equipment: Mask, gun(I was looking at the Smart Parts Ion), loader, accessories, and clothing. It doesn't hurt as much as I initially thought it would, but I'd still like to have more protection(been going in jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt.

Hey a good gun to start out with for beginning is a spyder. They are good quality and are low priced generally. They usually are just semi-automatic and are not electric.  Sometimes the guns will come in a package with a fairly good mask, Co2, a hopper, and extra springs and seals.  If your looking at getting something better and more advanced, it will depend.
