Palm centro question

their is a a message button that looks like a envelope next to the 5th navagation button its under the home button ,is that message button for email or txting becuz it told me to put my email and password and went to yahoo so it for email or txting

When I first got my centro the message button was set for email too but I changed it to messaging. You can actually use that button for any application you would like. If you want to change it, just go to Prefs from the menu and go to "buttons" under personal. There you can customize the buttom navigations. They also let you use and personalize the other shortcuts by using the shift button "aka option button" and then the navigation key.
