Yeah, the chopper is a piece of c**p, far more trouble to clean it than its worth.  Go to the person who you bought it from, or throw it away and use a knife which will same you loads of time in the long run.  I've found very little of Pampered stuff worth the trouble to clean it (my wife used to sell it) - I call it "Rube Goldberg Enterprises" (if you don't know who Rube Goldberg is, look it up).
