Panic At The Disco?

So I recently found out Panic! At The Disco has dropped the ! from their name. They are now just Panic At The Disco... it's very sad i know but i was wondering if anyone knows the date that this became offical?

January 9th was when they removed it from the myspace + websites, so i guess thats it!

it was like a coupler weeks ago it is just to plain without the ! on itunes they removed it for their new album and they still have it in their old cd so it is like they are 2 different bands
