im thinking about buying the new pantech duo for cingular but before i do, i need to know if i can put my old sim card, from(cing/att) in it.ive also used this current phone with the same sim for almost 4 years. ive heard that with this phone, you get a new sim card but if thats the case, i dont want to loose all of my contacts, info, numbers- etc.

anyone know what i can/should do?

  1. whoever told you that is lying. with all at&t phones you don't have to change sim cards unless you lose your phone, sim, or break your sim. i have a pantech duo and i really like it. i've had it for a few months now and there is nothing wrong with it. if you're not careful with it and throw it around and drop it, the springs could wear out quicker. i love the qwerty keyboard and it's very organized and easy to navigate. i would recommend you getting it.
