  1. Like one person said, you will need floral tape and possibly some wire.  There are videos on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN_b3nT4u... and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDdxtuUt_... ) that show how to make roses out of both ribbon and paper, respectively.

There are also websites that show you how to do it (http://www.wikihow.com/Fold-a-Paper-Rose ) if you Google "How to Make a Paper Rose."  I'm sure that any salesperson at Michael's or another local arts and crafts store will point you in the right direction as well.

I had an origami obsession once...And origami books often have step-by-step instructions for forming paper flowers of all kinds, both flat and 3D.  Look for some of those at your local library or bookstore.  Good luck!

  2. looks like an origami folding technique.

  3. When I was little (about 8) we used to make flowers using kleenex.  They were very pretty, but dang if I can remember how to do it.

Bet you could google kleenex flowers or some such a thing

  4. I know you'll need floral tape and floral wire.  Maybe an origami book could show you some different flowers.  You would poke a hole in the bottom of your flower and lace the wire through it.  You want the same amount of wire on each side and just tape them together with the floral tape.  You'll want to tape at an angle and keep pulling the tape taught.  It will just tear off and stick to itself at its end.

  5. There is a simple video here on how to make it from a kit - might have some useful pointers, as it just uses basic ingredients like tissue paper and pipe-cleaners http://www.fatbananafeet.com/arts-crafts...
