Paranormal? Any information will....please?

Question

Ok so my sister thinks that her house is haunted. Although she's never actually seen a PERSON appearing as a ghost, she has seen white blurs but only out of the corner of her eye. She always feels like someone is watching her and gets chills all the time. Sometimes it gets really cold all of a sudden. Fans turn off by themselves and lights turn on by themselves. She once heard cabinets in the kitchen opening and closing and when she went to see if someone was there all she saw was the cabinet door close and then it stopped. Every once in a while she hears banging that sounds like its coming from inside her walls. This is all true, she is not making any of it up or trying to make a joke out of it so if anyone can help or give any kind of information it would be greatly apprecitated! Thanks

We used to live in a house that was haunted as well. We ended up getting it "cleansed" by a priest and the weird stuff stopped happening, thankfully though, we moved out when I got pregnant. Hopefully this helps.

Signs of poltergeist presence. In our place, we normally treat such incidence through house blessing. If for instance the paranormal phenomenon continues, that's when we seek the help of exorcists.

The best advice I can personally give you is to get an exorcism. An exorcism is where a priest preforms a ritual.

Some spiritual entities seem to be still around in that house, and they are obviously not the friendly kind, you don't need to see a human shape for it to be a ghost, you need to contact your local religious leader and have the house blessed, but she needs to have faith so the blessing do take place.

I have been a paranormal investigator since 1972 and it sounds like a number of things going on there. The best advice I could give you is to find a paranormal investigation group in her area and ask them to check out the house and then take it from there.

True hauntings are rare occurrences, and it may be difficult to determine whether or not any strange phenomena you are experiencing in your home might be due to a haunting. The Signs of a Haunting

The first step is to determine, as best you can, whether or not you truly have a legitimate case of a haunting.

There are many things that can mimic a haunting.

The age of the home, electrical wiring,insulation,piping, heat/air systems and construction.

That being said I'm going to assume that all this was already checked out, and go right to the assumption of haunting.

She should keep a log of the activity, she should note time of day, location, and weather. This will help an investigator if she should feel the need to contact one, or even rule out the haunting if it corrulates to other things which could be the cause symptoms.

If she doesn't feel threatened then she could go this route.

Your sister may want to set up video camera's in the areas with the most activity. Keep a regular camera on her when she is in the areas where she has had these experiences, and when she feels /sees something start taking pics.

She maybe would even be open to talking to them and seeing if she gets a response. She can do that with a voice recorder(any kind) or the old fashion method,knock once knock twice.



If your sister feels threatened tell her to take back her home.

She need to be firm, assertive, but not nasty. Have her say "this is my home now and you must leave" She can try smudging with sage, or having the house blessed.

And lastly if she is just plain scared out of her mind, most definitely contact a local group in her area. Most groups can and will be very discrete to protect her privacy. Below is a link that has the groups listed by state if she is in the U.S..

Ha! This sounds exactly like my house! Well I do beleive in ghosts but I'm a skeptic 99% of the time. My house is old, drafty, wooden, creaky, etc. It gets chilly, I hear loud cracks and creaks in the middle of the night, my cabinets snap open (but the wood is a little warped so I think that's all it is), lights have flickered, and my pets often look up at things that aren't there.

I just accept it as part of my house, I generally won't beleive in paranormal things unless I see them in plain sight, plus maybe have another witness or 2.

I've smudged a house befrore. Scariest thing I ahve ever done in my life. I felt like there was somethign seriously oppressive there and while i didi the smudge ceremony it got really intense. I wanted to leave.. but I stuck it out. Definitely have her have someone smudge or bless the house. Remember, you have 100% power to command evil away and to command good to come in. People forget taht we as physical being can command at will with our words any spiritual being.

I said the following as I didi my smudge:

"I command any spirit of discord, anger, hatred disease, sadness, evil intent or negativiity to leave at once. I bind you and cast you back to the abyss from which you came. You are not welcome here. Go and do not return. I accept into this place any spirit of goodness, kindness, love and protection, who bears solely good will to the occupants and those who would visit."

I reapeated this as I smudged the entire house (no children or other were present in the house at the time. I felt an intense resistance to the command to leave, so much so that I felt physically fearful. I felt an overwhelming desire to flee the house. But I was NOT goging to have my home disrespected. I stayed and got louder and more insistent that the presence leave, unltil it appeared to leave (reduced it's hold. I had to do the smudge a second time to make it leave.

Please note. I am NOT supersititious, but when you literally hear someone calling your name and your kids (age 2 and 4 at the time) literally start hearing their names called and think it is you as well.. s***w that, nobody messes with my kids.. not in this life or the next.

By the way, people with mental illness can manifest that sort of thing. If someone lived ther ebefore who was mentally unstable, they could have invited who knows what in. Be careful.. She tries to get rid of it, whatever it is is goign to get really pissed off. Trust me.. you gotta push right back.

Ever heard of high electromagnetic energy. It can be given off by old faulty wiring anywhere in, under or around the house. High EMF reading can cause all kinds of reactions from skin irritations to neusa. Other symptoms are paranoia (like the feeling of being watched) and even hallucinations. Some people are more sensitive to others, the more sensitive, the more intense reaction.

Electrical waves always get mixed up, its normal. A few years ago, I remember laughing because my TV and radio were interfeering with each other, on certain channels I could listen to my alarm clock's radio station. This type of thing happens all the time.

Pipes under the floor and in the walls can give off the impression of creeks and yes footsteps. This happens because of water pressure.

Poor insulation can account drafts through out the house, drafts may easily cause cabinets to move.

If she h**l bent on the idea that her house is actually haunted, look up a volunteer paranormal organization in her area. They will be more than willing to explain to her what is going on and the suvarity of the situation.

You do not need a ghost to be have paranormal activity. Paranormal is just above the normal, beyond what we presently understand, scientific wise. In 1950 , no one believed it was possible we could go to the moon. It is natural to be afraid of what we do not yet undertand.

There are different types of hauntings. A residual haunting is  energy that has imprinted itself on a certain place in time. An event reoccuring over and over, like a skipping record. This type of haunting occurs in more like a tradgic event,  you can only witness small parts, even if you catch a glimps of it, even the "ghost", there is no interaction. This "ghost" has no clue you exist.

The other type of haunting is an intelligent haunting. This would be a something you can interact with. Infact it may be trying to get your attention. A disembodied human or better yet a human without a physical body sounds better.
