Parent problem! help me please?

Question

my parents are forcing me to wear an embarrassing pair of swim shorts to school swimming in pe. i have a pair (board shorts which are as good as new and comfortable) that they say are too long and not what everyone else wears when i don't know anyone who doesn't. i'll be a laughing stock for my whole class. please help me out in convincing my parents to let me wear my long shorts which are perfect for me!

tell them that it's really embaressing for you to wear them when you don't neccesarily need to. Also, if it makes you that uncomfortable you

should make it a point to tell them what the other guys wear.....

p.s

ALL the guys in my p.e wear either trunks or some basketball shorts.

In my p.e we HAVE to wear a Tee shirt over our bikinis because they

are,"Too revealing" But they are right cause the guys are total pervs...

Just take both and wear the long ones, they won't know.

If it was me I would just take both pair to school and wear the ones that I want.  Unless you parents have someone to watch you at school how will they know.  

On the other hand who cares what everyone thinks. You have to be an individual. Why would you want to be like someone else.  Be different instead of typical.
