  1. Of course not everyone is skinny, but it is true that on the whole, Americans are fat compared to Europeans.

  2. i went to france last summer as an exchange too. we all know that americans ar all very very fat. she is telling the truth, but not fully. when i was in france i saw that about 1 in every 20 people were fat. but then again that one person could be a tourist haha. but americans are healthier when it comes to smoking belive it or not. when in france, you can smoke at really any age! i would see 10 year olds smoking! how awful, right?!

  3. You mean seals ???? - yes,now it's beginning in France too - it's horrible - there should be legal restrictions against seals -

mainly when they sit just close to you and crush you against the window of the bus

But all in all, compared to the US, where there's  1lb in France, there are 100 lb in your country - lucky americans....

  4. When I was in Paris, there were alot of skinny people. I noticed people who lived there didnt appear to work alot because there always outdoors walking, running, biking, etc. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, people seem to enjoy life there. There not in rush, including eating, they taking there time. The french appear to be very active people, and because they digest there food slow, there full fast which I think is a couple of reason why they are thin.

  5. It's true...you hardly see overweight people in Paris (that's the only place I visited). My guess is because 1) everything, including food, is so expensive 2) the metro is efficient (and gas is expensive), so a lot of people walk around the city or take the metro rather than drive and 3) serving sizes are smaller.
