Seriously?!?!! I just got back and it sucked. What does Paris have to offer other than over priced food, art museums and old buildings to look at?? I mean i was bored outta my mind. Ive been to New York, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, and Paris didnt even compare to these places!!

The people i must add we fine and friendly but Paris as an overall tourist attraction sucked!!! Maybe when im 50 ill want to look at art and architecture but not at 20 years old!!!

  1. You have the right to your opinion.  I just hope that you got a good enough tour of Paris to properly evaluate it.

Maybe Paris is not for you.

But many people in the world regard Paris as exceptional.  I am in that camp and you have not changed my mind.  Wether or not you do or don't like it - it is still going to continue to be a great tourist destination.

Lastly - I can't see how anyone could rate Valencia over Paris.  Just as I respect your opinion, I hope you respect mine.

  2. Too bad for you, more for the rest of us.

  3. Paris is hot......

  4. If all you could find were museums and old buldings then you must either be blind or mentally retarded.

There's a fabulous club scene, dozens of incredible music venues, hundreds of great bars and cafes, and hordes of stunning looking women.

  5. I could see that at 20 years of age you would need to do some different looking then older people.  My kids certainly didn't have any problems when we lived in Paris. they loved it but they had friends to do things with and that makes a difference.

What did your research show to do before you left to go to Paris?  You did do some searching prior to arrival?  Did all those things turn out to be boring?

  6. Pleasure is where you find it.  I too have been to New York, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and several other large cities on vacation.  I spent some time looking at architecture and going to museums in all of those places.  If you didn't spend your time in Spain and New York looking at architecture or going to museums, how did you spend your time?  I'm sure the same options were available to you in Paris had you looked.
