  1. Cologne would be Gare du Nord.

  2. From CDG you can go to the train station "Gare du Nord" and to go in Cologne (Koln) it is from "Gare du nord" also with the thalys train.

  3. Best station for Koln is Gare de L'Est or Gare du Nord.  All have trains to Koln.  Their website is http://www.sncf.fr

  4. Cologne is accessible from gare du Nord. In Paris you will arrived from Roissy Charles de Gaulle.

The website of the train company is

    http://www.voyages-sncf.com/dynamic/_SvH...

Cologne in germany is called Köln (DE) by the train company

The station is KOELN HBF also called Köln HBF. The train is a Thalys is a kind a TGV, the faster train in europe.

For the underground train inside Paris (if you don't want take a taxi) this include Roissy CDG. You will have to take RER E.

  5. Okay, I just make a quick correction from Old Boy's post. The subway line to take from Charles de Gaulle Airport is the RER B (not the RER E).

When you land at Charles de Gaulle Airport, signs generally indicate you how to get to the RER station. Normally, you shouldn't have problem to find them. It's generally mentioned as "Paris by train" (in English).

Now, there are two possibilities. If you land at CDG1 terminal, then you'll firstly need to take the CDGVAL free metro shuttle to reach the RER station. If you land at CDG2 terminal, then you can directly go to the RER station by foot.

Afterwards, don't bother. Every RER B trains stop at Gare du Nord. Once there, just follow up the "Thalys" signs and you'll find your way to the right platforms.
