Parking Citations & Moving Violations....?

Question

I have 10 parking citations, parking meters, mostly, and two street cleaning, and two moving traffic violation ( one moving violation was about a left hand turn that I been making for years, then oneday without noticing it, there was a no left turn sign, yeah, just that fast!) These citations and moving traffic violations come to about $1,200.00 I can't afford this kind of money for parking on God's Earth. Can I somehow request to work off these citations and moving violations through community services? The moving violations, you can see a judge about and request for community services. But the parking citations, is it possible that I can see a judge on this and request for community services?

Your extremely most helpful reply to this question and who to see or write to about this, please include it. I wrote to parking citations bureau, but they never replied absolutely no answer, which they are the ones that should know of this since here is where you pay these citations off at.

As far as I know, the city where you live is not going to care and is going to want its money. Period. They will take your license away in my state if you don't pay.

God's Earth is a bit vague for a location.  It would be MUCH easier to give you a complete answer to your question if you would take the time to tell us where in the heck all this took place!

Whether or not you could work any of these off is between you and the judge.   I suggest you talk to the correct party.

As to the sign that showed up overnight,  see whatever department puts up signs in your area,  and ask for a copy of the work order.   If the sign went  up without warning and changed traffic patterns,  you may be able to get this one dropped.
