I was having the "dishwasher fills, makes a humming noise and then does nothing" problem that several others have had. Following the excellent instructions found here, I disassembled the mechanism to get to the chopper assy. I presume this is the problem: So I need to get and install a new chopper assy. However, when I was disassembling to get to this point, I found two other "bits" of a part that I can't identify. The "bottom" bit was down where the broken chopper bits were, but the "top" bit was on top of the "Protector, Foreign"(Part 9) The only thing I can guess it might be is "Check Valve, Sump" (Part 5) on the same page. But if that's the case, where does it go and where's the "loop" thing?These are pics of the two bits of the part: The top obviously snaps into the bottom but other than that, I have no idea. There's no part # (of course), just a "1" on the bottom, and a 2 on the top.Thanks in advance
