Passport interview?

how long after the passport interview does it take for the passport to arrive?

It all depends ...  4-6 weeks is the standard, but I have known it to take shorter and longer.  I got mine in a week.    A friend got her back after 2 1/2 months., another it took 3 1/2 months. However, if this is your first passport, and you  are going somewhere in the next 6 months  or shorter, lets hope you get it in time. I am sure you will, but it just all depends on the number of passports applied for at any given time.

The Passport Offices suggests at least 6 weeks prior to needing to travel
