Patching a vinyl pool liner?

I heard there is a patch that you can use without draining the pool..has anyone heard or tried this??

you can find the patches at any wall mart center in the pool section. It is simple to use, just dive to the spot that needs to be patched, and place it, rub it a bit and it is stuck. I have used them for years on my pool and they have not let me down. Good luck.
