if your partner is self employed are they entitles to anything? i know u get 2 weeks paternity pay if employed but wat happens if your self employed? uk

  3. Tell your partner to talk with his boss and see if he can get some paternity leave...sorry, that's a poor attempt at a joke.

    When you are self employed you make your own rules and have your own plans.  Therefore, the benefit is that your parter gets to take off as much time as they want, but unless someone is at the office earning income during that time, the downside will be that the time off will be unpaid.
