I pawned an item about 3 years ago, and I need some info regarding the item, and was wondering how long do the stores keep the record on file?

  1. The only one who can answer that is the pawn shop owner.  He/she will not tell you who they sold it to, only IF they sold it.  After three years, they probably have.
