Pay as you go international simcard?

I am currently on a phone contract with o2, ive cancelled this as im moving to america at the end of september to be with my gf. Is there any pay as you go simcards to put in my phone (which is unlocked to all networks) i can buy to use here in the uk to call america cheap and also call people in the uk etc until i move there?

yeah, go into the carphone warehouse and ask for their international sim card, its really good and gives you really cheap calls and texts, i use it to phone Australia all the time

the sim card provider is mobile world but its the carphone warehouse that sells it - you can top up in most shops and postal offices
