Paypal and confirmation????????????

Question

i just added a card to my paypal account, do i need it to be confirmed to buy something on ebay? i recently(yesterday sunday august 3) won an item, i want to pay for it, so do i need the 4 digit code before buying anything?

AsiaAdvi has given you good advice.  I do caution you however, I became a victim of Identify Theft do to Pay Pal.  I am not sure what happened on there end but somehow my

ATM card got sent to someone in TX.  I live in ID  This was around Xmas and I find out that someone in MOROCCO has charged 2 full Game Boys, and a computer for  $7,000.  These thefts were somehow charged thought different accounts on EBay.  The only reason I found out that something fishy was going on is because I received a Check from Fed EX addressed to Since One savings for 5,000. Thankfully my Bank sends Internet generated checks to the account holder for disbursement, This was a nightmare to say the least.

You may need confirmation transactions between PayPal and the bank if your PayPal balance doesn't cover what you want to spend.

If you are referring to the card's PIN number, you don't use this for online purchases.
