ok after a fortnight the item things and transfers have "cleared" and been "confirmed", do i need to do anything for the seller to post the item or should i contact them incase?

Not really sure what you mean.  But if you are saying that your payment has cleared and your are wondering what is the status of your shipment?

The seller should be able to see that it has cleared also, but it would not hurt if you contacted them.

Clear communications is what helps on line selling to work.
