Paypal pending can i cancel ?

I have bought an item through ebay from a company based in the usa i sent payment via paypal and it says it is pending it has been 3 days and i have never had this problem before.I have emailed the seller 3 times and had no response also i notice they havnt sold anything since the start of Feb .Can i cancel the payment ?And if i do will i get a strike

Its pending because they haven't claimed it! I have an item awaiting payment from the US at the moment - great buyer - and I know she will pay eventually.

You can't cancel PP payment - the seller must do that and you can't push the dispute button for 7 days either so hang on in there.

I would cancel it, if you get negative feedback just reply to it explaining what happened.

If you paid by echeque they often take a week to clear & show as pending on your screen. Wait until the 7 days are up before you contact Ebay. I've got a pending at the moment from something I sold, it's bleddy annoying.
