Paypal question, please help!?

i just got the paypal account so i could something on ebay. i used my debit card for the account cause i don't have a credit card. it accepted it, but the balance says $0 in the paypal account. i bought something on ebay anyway and it went through, i got a receipt. will i have problems with this transaction because the receipt said i used a credit card to pay, and i'm just unsure about this whole paypal account thing either. please help because i'm worrying that i did something wrong.

yea what the first person said.  Paypal only shows what you have sold and the money you have made, not what you purchased.  If you have bought something with your debit card, it should show on your account balance in 3-4 days.  Thats what it does for me...i just check online and see a negative amount from ebay/paypal for what i purchased.

Your account balance is how much money people have paid you not what you have in the bank.

Using debit will only pull money when needed, so you wont have a balance unless you actually transfer money from your bank account into paypal.
