  1. I can not ever recall seeing a p.c. fan that would run on 110volts. They are meant to run from the power supply. That means either 5 or 12 volts dc.

    They do make that style of fan that runs on 110volts. They are commonly used to cool electronic equipment cabinets. Most tech people call that a "muffin fan."
