Pc music big problem help me!!?

Question

hi i am online right now and i here music coming from the computer and i X mozzila and ussually u see a advertisment bu ti dont that it is just music

my q is:wat the h**l is going on oh i am sure it is coming from the com.

fyi the music is on right now how do i stop it

Close everything and restart the computer.

First of all. Close all internet browsing windows. If that doesnt stop it, just close all programs that are open. If none of them seem to stop the music, then do the following: In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen you should see the time. To the left of that a bunch of icons (to the far left there might be a grey arrow or some type of arrow depending on your OS. Click that arrow to see all the icons.) Make sure iTunes, LimeWire, WMP, or any other music-associated program is not reduced to that bar. If there is, just double click that icon and manage it from there.

And I know you said you know its not from your computer. But just to make sure, shut down your computer, you never know what might happen. If that does stop it, restart computer and everything should be reset.

Answer could be many things so here is what you do:

Close all windows, one at a time until the music stops.

If the music is repeating the same stuff over and over it could very well be a banner ad. Most that I've run into on somewhat respectable sites has a "mute" option on them. Look for those as your closing out Windows.

IF you close your browser and still hear noise, With Windows XP hit ctrl-alt-delete and see if anything is running under Applications. If you close all of those and still hear it, look in your little icons down by the time. Hover the mouse over them to see what they are.

try a restart...somthing got in...its common online...i got a road jackhammer sound on mine the otherday.
