  1. OK are you talking about withdrawling from a class you are currently in, or a class you were going to take in the fall? Two totally different situations.

If you are talking about withdrawling from a class this fall that you have not been in yet, then let your fa office know so they can reduce your award. You will not lose it totally.

If you are talking about withdrawling from a class you are currently in, then you will be put on probation for fall semester. That is basically a warning, and you have to pass each class you register for with a 2.0 or better. And your grant will not, otherwise, be effected and you will get the same amount.

I hope I have answered your question.

  2. Yes, your Pell grant will be reduced.

  3. Yes, your Pell Grant will be reduced to reflect the amount of hours you are enrolled in. You were origionally enrolled in 3/4 time financial aid, which is 9-11 hours. You are now down to 1/2 time, which is 6-8. You need to contact your financial aid department to let them know what you are doing so they can adjust your award. Otherwise, their may be complications and the money will not go towards your tuition until it is corrected in the system.

  4. I actually had the same problem last semester.  My pell grant wasn't reduced, nor were my loans.  I would speak to someone in financial aid... they should definitely be able to clear that up for you.  Good luck!

  5. You're supposed to be full time to get a grant. They will probably cancel it.
