  1. penny pitch... throw pennies into jars wins a prize. different variations of this so that pay outs are limited. Always a small catch in these types of games. local businesses could help with this promotion and they would get free advertising! If some prizes included reduced meal costs etc the business owner would still benefit from the more business and hopefully repeat customer.

  2. My daughters school gives the classroom that has the most money a pizza or ice cream party. Or the winning class gets to throw a pie in the principle's face. They call it Penny War.

Good Luck! I hope that you raise your goal amount.

  3. Well what my kids school dose is they get some of those really big water jugs that are like 20 to 50 gallons and they use one for each class room and they set them up in the office or front hall by the office, and then they have the kids bring in change but the thing is is they only want pennies, but they can bring in any change and what they do is but the silver change in another grades jug and at the end they divide the change up and count how much silver was but into the other jugs and then they take that away from the pennies to come up with the class with the most pennies, and to reward the kids they have them a movie, pop and popcorn or a dance or something fun for them, it's a pretty good thing to do,I know because I had four kids in the same school so they we playing hard ball with each others grade......our school divide it up by grades it was easier it was alot of fun.
