  1. Yuor ablosteuly rgiht!

  2. It goes along with not paying attention like capitalization of i into I in a sentence and spacing of words that run together ...atleast...or most of all not having agreement within a title..."people cant spell for their life" ...people have more than one life...lives would be appropriate.

Pay attentiion to what you write. How about not only using "spellcheck" but also rereadng what you have written before submitting?

  3. i no peepel kant spel it sux!

It's funny that you forgot the punctuation in "cant."

    pot/kettle

  4. I completely agree.  I was a copywriter/editor for many years and it isn't just folks between the ages of 10-30 years old.  I saw it on a regular basis from company executives and those in upper management positions.  It never ceases to amaze me.  I will say, however, that I am horrible at math.  I believe that we're born with a pre-disposition to be good at one or the other.  Just my opinion.

  5. Just as you are "so friggin sick of people being grammatically incorrect," there are some who are equally annoyed at absence of punctuation, capitalization, and the like. There's indeed a pot/kettle issue here.

Like you, I wonder at those people who can't spell even the simplest words: you're/your, lose/loose, etc. There's more than poor education here. Some people don't care how stupid they come off looking.

To avoid irritating anyone, I try to spell, punctuate, and capitalize correctly, and use correct grammar. No one complains when I do that, and my message is clearer, too.

  6. Yes, especially when there is something just to the right of this box telling them that they have spelled something wrong.  I think this gross misspelling is definitely a finger pointing to a lack of eduction.

  7. Lose and Loose both are correct spellings though the usage is different.

I honestly don't grudge as this is indeed confusing sometimes. People use it without realizing that lose and loose both can be used as verbs with different meanings.

  8. Text messaging is lazy with the abbreviations, americanisms are creeping into the english language, and the lack of interest in writing and speaking the correct english is becoming the norm. Teaching standards have dropped and the whole "anything for a quiet life" attitude is now showing. It will only get worse. White children are now speaking with the patois of the Caribbeans. For example " I axe you" instead of " I ask you"

Thank you being 16 and noticing this, you are a credit to your generation.

  9. I find that people do make spelling mistakes (which in some cases is an honest mistake) what gets me is when people say "they r hving prblms w there mom, i tink i mit be prganant nd ..." You just know that these people are aware these words have proper spelling. I do my best to sound intelligent and I find it insulting that people want you to answer questions when they won't even take the time to type them out accurately.

  10. Being 'grammatically incorrect' isn't only about spelling.

So yes, as a few others mentioned, there is quite a big kettle/black issue going on here.

I am often lazy when typing and omit punctuation and capitalization as well, but it's silly you do that in your post of fussing over the errors of others.
