helo all. just need some opinions. comments are appreciated as well. just be honest. what do u think of a man who stands at 5'11 and weights 170lbs/77 kg and is able to do 12 pushups in a row with a 120lbs/55kg person standing on his shoulder blades. standing, not sitting. so the entire 120lbs/55kg weight is on him. 12 weighted pushups in a row. all the way down all the way up. is it the same like benchpressing 185lbs for 12 reps? or heavier than 185lbs?what do u think? thanks.

  1. This is what, the 4th or 5th time you've asked this question in the rugby section in the last few weeks?

Son, no offence but I'm starting to assume you're a fifteen year old seppo school kid with an ego problem or some form of small man syndrome.

If you really want to fish for compliments post a picture of your k**b on Adult Friend Finder or something.

Save this section for questions about Rugby not about whether or not you're "The Man"

  2. Firstly, I have to confess struggling with the math. How do you arrive at 185lbs in terms of a combined weight?

Irrespective of the math, any person who can bench press their own body weight (between 10 to 20 reps) is to be considered very fit and regarded an ideal benchmark in terms of physical strength. Anything above that is impressive.

  3. I think coming to Yahoo Answers for an ego boost isn't going to work.  I was 5'8" 150 pounds in high school.  I could do 30 pull-ups without stopping, 200 push-ups, 200 sit-ups, etc.  I tried out for the Nagano Olympics at 19.  But I realized that there were always going to be people out there who would do more/better.  It's more than just feats of strength, it also takes heart.  I never posted my feats 6 times on some online forum looking for an ego-boost, because in the end it's what you do on the field that counts.  I've seen far too many people who look like bodybuilders but are complete pansies on the rugby pitch.  My opinion is that you need to stop posting this "question" and focus on getting better/stronger.  Look for adoration and praise from the guy standing next to you on the pitch, not a bunch of random people on YahooAnswers.

  4. wow

  5. I would say.... "wow"

I could never do that... but i'm a girl.  I would like to see it done though. Just curious.
