People who have tattoos..??

Question

I want to get a tattoo on the back of my shoulder (shoulder blade area). It's just going to be a small quote from something. How much will it hurt?? Is that consider a relatively painful area to get a tattoo?

i have a tat on my shoulder and it hurt the least of all my 8 tats. infact, it didnt even hurt at all.

That is supposed to be one of the easiest places to get one...I think your pain threshold will determine that though.  

I have one on my foot, and that is supposed to be a very painful spot.  Personally, I didn't think it was a big deal.  In fact, I have been back to get it re-filled.

i got my first one there, it felt like being drawn on with a pen. and while everyone's pain sensitivity is different, i've heard it's one of the least painful places to get one done.

Tattoos are easy. Like, its a joke pretty much. I've had the tops of my feet done and it was a manageable pain, and its supposed to be one of the worst places. Shoulder is appearently easy.

if it's that bad just tell the artist you need a break. But you'll get through it. Just tough it out and I'm sure you'll love the tattoo when you're done and not even care about the pain!

It doesn't hurt that much I have one there It was one of my least painful I have 8 btw and the lower back was the worse You really have to get a quote from a tattoo parlor because they are going to be the only ones to tell you how much it will cost I got Brian from Family guy tattooed on my shoulder and it was $60

for most people its one of the least painful places on the fleshy part of your shoulder- and it is one of the quickest healing parts of your body all together. if your shoulder blade is prominent (bony) you may find it hurts more if the tattoo goes over the bone as it tends to be most painful over bone. but at the end of the day everyone is really different, but no- its not generally considered a painful place
