  1. Permanent deforestation will result in our oxygen supply decreasing and less natural renewable resources such as paper for you to write on, less furniture, less homes, and syrup for your food. It would be horrible that happened. Imagine how many people and animals would be losing their lives.

  2. No wood, as in no forest ecosystems, as in no furniture, as in seriously, the end of life as we know it.

Deforestation is a serious, serious matter. It afflicts countries across the globe, especially poor countries who need the wood for money. They chop it down and don't replant. Think about it- if we continue chopping without regrowing, in 20 years, this planet will be woodless. End of horror story.

  3. No forest.  That's what the word means.

If your question is about the IMPACT of permanent deorestation, then that's a different ball of wax.  Loss of forest means soil erosion, more heat and loss of heat at the surface, destruction of soil enzymes and sub-surface flora and fauna, and lots more.
