  1. If your in Canada the baby will have Canadian citizenship.  Because you are both from a different country he may also have citizenship to yours or your boyfriends but you are only allowed two in total (dual citizenship)  but you need to apply for that one will be Canadian then the other can be your choice.  Make sure you have permanent residency though because having a child in Canada will not guarantee that you get citizenship or extended stay.

  2. if you are in the u.s. and the baby is born here then he or she will be a u.s. citizennnn.

  3. Where are you?

  4. Your child will have a right to Australian citizenship by birth to an Australian citizen mother.  It will have a right to Brazilian citizenship by birth to a Brazilian father.  Thus it is a "dual national."  You baby usually has to chose by age 18 which of the two citizenships it wants to claim.

If you and your bf are in Brazil, be sure you register the birth to an Australian citizen while abroad at the nearest Australian consulate to protect your child's rights to Australian citizenship and get an Australian passport.  If you are in Australia, he has to go to the Brazilian consulate to register the birth and get the passport likewise.

Your bf gets diddly -- he already got his.  He gets no immigration benes unless he has applied to immigrate, been approved to enter Australia, and completed all the rest of Australia's requirements for permanent resident status.  Since you two are not married, you cannot sponsor him, and he cannot apply on the basis of marriage to a citizen.

  5. ugggggh, well My guess is you both found a way into America & want to get your hook's into US. so ya~all can reap or is it rape the benifits of My taxed Dollars. is the baby going to be a boy or are you asking in reference to your boyfriend ? (you dont mention husband... thanks for keeping the dream alive) Baby will be regarded as a US Citizen and you 2 parents will be part of the Growing Problem....  sey would you both stay in this country if the Law was keep the baby ( born out of wedlock) & deport the parents????
