Question:

Persian Tattoo Designs?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I want to get something that reflects my Persian heritage. I was thinking maybe a small farvahar or something, it would be great if anyone had any ideas or designs that I can take with me since I don't think there are many Iranian tattoo artists that can help me with a design

Thanks alot

Ps.

I don't want anything HUGE, I m not trying to show it off, I'm thinking of my neck area so It is easy to hide, I want a tattoo for myself, not for show sorta thing :) thanks

  1. The farvahar is a very neat image unique to the Persian region (good call!), so it's definitely a good choice.

Other things to consider are traditional Assyrian winged bulls/lions, like these:

I have no doubt you know a good bit about the Persian civilizations of the past - it's worth looking into "Babylonian" and "Assyrian" type artwork in google images, just to have a look at other ideas.

Score one for you actually knowing something about your own cultural background, though - it's less common here than you'd think.

Farsi script is a nice option, too, provided, of course, that you can read it.

  2. Hi,

I can easily make that design for you. I am the designer for www.persiantattoodesigns.com you can check it out and look through my many Farsi Calligraphy designs. I provide a range of custom design tattoo and logos; specializing in Tribal Tattoo, Persian Tattoo, Ancient Tattoo, Farsi Tattoo and etc.

    Best,

    Adel.
