thsi is a great question and a very entertaining basketbal game. i will break down the posistino battles as well as their bench

PG:

i would take andre miller over jameer any day. jameer is a solid point guard but hes inconsistent. one game he'll drop 20 next game he'll disappear. hes not big nor strong enough to defend andre miller's post up game. Bench Point Guards: Louis Williams vs. anthony johnson. both are great bench players but will give the edge to williams. hes young and will only get better next season where as anthony is old and can now only do so much. williams is an added threat. so advantage SIXERS.

SG:

with the departure of maurice evans from the starting lineup i would imagine that the magic will go with mikael pietrus. pietrus is a good defender, athletic, and has good range on his jumpshot. he will give iguodala all he can handle in their matchup but i feel that iggy will be much better this year. i expect him to be a better shooter which will help tremendously to his already dynamic game. iguodala can drive and once he can shoot he will be even more dangerous. advantage here sixers, but then again i can see iggy stuggling against pietrus's tough defense and the magics strong team defense

SF

turkuglu vs young, no brainer i'd take the man from turkey any day. hes a great all around player and is an underrated playmaker. this should be the biggest mismatch on the court. young simply cant handle this turkish baller.

PF. Lewis vs Brand

I'd take Brand on thsi one. lewis is not a good defender and brand should look to exploit this matchup on the offensive end. brand can bang down low and score at will (but he will be facing an unfanvoable matchup of dwight comes over and helps). lewis will also be valuable on the offensive end. hes versatile and will force brand to cover him all over the court and thus taking away his defensive abilities in the paint.

howard dalembert

not gona bother explaining this matchup, howard simply the best center in the league

bench wise :

this is extremely close. but i will have to go with the sixers. they have tremendous depth and with wilie green playing hte bench the sixers have many options to go with when they're players are tired. the magic have a lot of god options on paper but guys like courtney lee and even jjj reddick have a lot to prove.

ok so in all i believe that the magic would win, but just barely like 5 points. the sixers could easilt win this matchup. if dwight gets in foul trouble and cant make his fre throws the sixers would have an even better chance to win. but if things go best for both teams i would have to take the magic.

well, sixers.  ther PG is TO good, and elton is able to hit the jumpers even w/ howard in the middle, plus when philly b on D, elton is thick enough from letting d12 (THE best center in the league) from "dominating him" and we all no how good howards jumpers are lol.  plus, if the matchup would b r-lewis vs. dalembert, lewis is very poor on D, and even dalembert could take him.  i take the young sixers by a little bit
