Phome disconnects after 5 minutes?

I have cable phone service and the phone will disconnect after a few minutes and goes into the dial tone? the computer is connected to the same modem as the computer is.

That has happened to me before and it's the equipment.  

Call the cable co. and get them to reset your box or get a new one brought to you.

Dont' forget to let them adjust your bill for the days of lost service.

You shouldn't have to pay for that.
