how come they never call you back when their suppose too and have the absoulte worast phone waiting music it drives me nutty and dont get me started on voice activated computer thingies ah !!!!!!!!!!!!

Banks don't own the rights to poor customer service.  Bad customer is epidemic in North America.  Not just the banks, but phone companies, cable companies, VoIP companies, Internet service providers.... the list goes on.  Poor customer service is now the norm....  Good customer service.... is a myth.

I know it's one of the most annoying things in our Modern Society. Voice activated answer services, completely useless and God forbid if you have a broad accent..

I think British Telecom should get an award for their useless answer service. Normally I just speak Welsh until I get transferred to a "human" operator.

I couldn't agree more. Yeah, capitalism. It's great isn't it? Greed is a good thing.  That's what pro-business and anti-government folks would have you believe. We are regressing. Why else would customer service be going down in so many companies/industries?  It's all about dollars. Customers lose! The more information the companies have the better they can fatten their bottom line or so they believe. Morals and ethics are being tested.

Blog about it. Complain. Send an email. If enough people complain and raise a fuss then maybe things will improve.
