it all depends on the tariff your on from your provider. if on bt opt 1, 3 and a bit pence per minute during the day time, evening up to an hour 4.5 pence i think. if on option 2, same ondaytime, evening or on opt 3, up to an hour free of charge.

it depends on the time of day and what network you use. with BT I know that if its between 6pm and 8pm on all tariffs it will be 100% free. During other times of the day it will cost upto 30p but this is anything upto an hour and the charge remains the same. Basically in answer to your question not very much. It costs teh same to call devon as it would to call someone in newcastle ot liverpool or manchester, anywhere in teh country its fixed.

Forget about the cost, simply download Skype and use a microphone/headset to talk to your friend/loved one etc.
