Does the percussion from explosives hurt my SLR?

I'd say if YOU make it through, your camera sure will, too.

You'll be safe as long as nothing actually comes flying and hits you or your camera.

If your face didn't break it nothing will.

Of course, it will hurt it if you are too close. You need to be working with the person who is in charge of the blast.
