Photography help! with nikon D80?

Im leaving for washington d.c. as a summer trip, I got my D80 for christmas and before that I had a Nikon N55. My question is I have a Qaf 6600 which I used with the N55, will it work with my D80?

Yeah it will probably work, but only in a manual flash mode.  If you want to use TTL, consider the SB-600 at the minimum.

Since it is a third party flash, it may not work.  Do you still have your N55?  If you do, test it to see if it still works.  It could be possible the flash doesn't work anymore.
