Okay, so, alot of times when I make a picture, there is always a white background, and if i want to place something on my picture, the background which is usually like.. a square.. doesn't fit in the scene.. How do I make the background go away, and only the picture shows?

  1. u can remove the white background like this...u go down to layers box..there's an eye next to each layer..click on the eye next to background & it will disappear..

u ll see a white & blue squares backround, that means that there's no background.

PS: save the image to PNG not JPEG,so u can put it wherever u want ,without the squares background.

  2. i think you didn't specify the measurements about what size of the window you want to create which will be appear while creating a new file.

a window will appear while you click New in file menu.

that window consist of Name ,Preset, width, height, resolution, Color mode, Background Contents etc..

1st you can select the preset sizes which are predefined else you can give your own size in the width, height columns.

    2nd about your background

you can select 3 type of backgrounds

white, Background color, Transparent according to your wish

now click ok to create a new file.

3rd if you want to edit on background then in the layer window double click the background and give a name like layer0 etc

now you are able to edit in the background else if you don't want the background the simple delete that layer by right clicking and select delete layer

    that's all
