Physics problem please help

Question

Leadpelets of mass 0.60g fall on a horizontal plate at a rate of 100pelets/m. if they strike the plate with a velocity of 5m/s and do not rebound. What force is exerted on the plate? b.) As above execpt that pelets, although of the same mass are made up of steel and rebound from the plate with a velocity of 4m/s.

A) F=ma

F=9.8*0.0006

F=0.00588 N for each pelet

and in minute (100 pelets ) it will exert 0.0058*100= 0.588 N

B)same force  velocity does not affect Force!! only acceleration can alter it
