Picking the right Kiteboarding gear?

I just had my first lesson the yesterday and im hooked but now i dont know what gear is right for my body, the kind of kiting i want to do, and for my location. I go to sandy hook NJ, I'd like to learn tricks eventually, I'm 5'6, 165 what would work best for me?
