Picture of my dog not avatar?

i was wondering what do you have to do instead of having an avatar on my picture i want a picture of someone else what do i do???

TO GET A PHOTO/CUSTOM PICTURE AS YOUR AVATAR.

If you want a photo/custom picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 account. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

The photo needs to be saved on your computer as a jpg file, don't worry about the size to much yahoo will adapt it.

1> Click "my page” (top of page).

2> Click "edit personal photo" (on the left above photo window).

3> Click “browse” choose the photo from your photos click "save", Set as primary and "save".

4> Go to your “edit my profile” http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit click “use my yahoo 360 picture” scroll down and press "preview", and then "OK" in the next screen.

And your done.

Some users are experiencing a problem with the avatar showing or appearing and disappearing, since yahoo upgraded the site and continue with the work. You may need to load the avatar again and check the settings. It can take some time to show but it will eventually so try to be patient.

TO USE A PERSONAL PICTURE:-

It’s a STEP-by-STEP Instruction. So follow it carefully!

♦You need to first make a Yahoo 360 account.

To make one click on the link http://360.yahoo.com.

Follow the steps to create one. Next, click: -

-‘My Page’ at the top of the 360 page,

-Click ‘Edit Personal Photos’ at the top left corner.

-Click ‘Browse’ and drop the photos from your drive.

To convert your photos to JPG format go to Microsoft paint and Open that photo.

Click ‘Save As’ JPG in your drive.

♦When you are done click ‘SAVE’ at the bottom of the page where you

had browsed that photo.

NOTE:-It takes awhile to upload depending on your server and connectivity. If there is no disturbance then it should get uploaded immediately! Some users are experiencing delays. So be patient if it doesn’t show up.

♦When its uploaded click on

-‘Edit Personal Photos’ once again and ticks on ‘Set As Primary ‘.

-Click this link http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit  

-Tick ‘Use My 360 Picture’.

Login once again to get the PHOTO instead of the Avatar.
