Piercings? I need ur help!?

OMG I want a piercing right where snakebites would be but only one not two oviousl yor it would be snakebites lol but I was bored so I took a piece of wire we had in the house and made it look like a lip ring, I put it right in the middle and on the side where a snakebite would be. I thought it looked good and thne went to the camera to take a pic then forgot bout it, it was on for like an hour and then when my mom came in I remembreed and took it off cuz she would be pissed and I MISSED IT! I kept brushing my teeth against my lip and it wasnt there and I was dissapointed! im 13 so there is no way my mums gonna let me get it but what should I do? also witch hurts more in the middle or ur lip with a lip ring or on the side, and if I have picked at my lip for years, like a nervouse habbit and its scarred and spots on it are red (ya I no sounds gross but doesnt look to bad) would that effect the piercing?

y dont u just wait a few years til you can get it. if u get it now and end up not wanting it later it will just be a scar wait a while til you are allowed and still want it.

No doubt you are trying to go for a look that makes you cool. The thing is though there a lot safer ways to look cool that your mum would approve, so why not save yourself the hassle and look in clothes, appropriate make up and that sort of thing. Btw what do you want others to think of you? A well thought of girl, like a cheerleader wouldn't go for extreme and yet she is probably cool and popular.

Being thirteen is a fork in the road for you. I mean which way do you go? Kids who go down a road of being sneaky and defiant often are the same girls who end up hurt by boys, pregnant and without much of a future.

If you travel the higher road and let mum still make decisions concerning your best interest, you will have nice bfs some day, a good reputation, good grades and more trust from your mum which will allow you to make a few decisions yourself. Remember the person who loves you the most and wants to give you everything is the one who gave you life. Its not easy being a good girl but its a lot harder when you start being a bad girl Talk to mum honey. She will give you great guidance.

okay, well, im confused about where the piercing was, but...i had the same problem...except i just had one on the side, [ it didnt hurt ] and i did it myself like....7 times, because it kept closing because my mom would make me take it out, so i would put it in where i wast by her, school, friends houses, etc.

i would at least ask your mom...its worth a shot, right?

i dont know which hurts more, but the side doesnt hurt at all, so...

i dont think it will effect it, unless you continue to pick at it when you have the ring in, then it might.

As a guy i think its hott and i think more off to the side is better looking but hey parents are meant to be ignored so i say go for it but if you dont want your parents mad just ask enough to make them say yes but suck up first and i say 13 is old enough to start deciding what you want compared most people cant make up their mind cough cough barrack obama cough cough

well you still too young.. Why dont you just wait till your like 16 where you are older and you can practically do it yourself ( well in some places)... Why don't you just not ruin your pretty face. Just get some ear piercings. Much kuter.

ok wow u ppl r gross....my moms the same way...i havent got my snakebites yet but i have my nose double pierced ears and a cartilage and non of them hurt it was more like a prick..but the pain level depends on your pain talerence. and u have to have ur mom sign a release form to get pierced at a shop..i pierced my own cartilage and it wasent that hard and didnt really hurt. my addvice is that if ur sure..try piercing it ur self but make sure the needle your hand and the lip area r clean. and make sure you clean the area all the time bactine works the best. u can get it at walmart. and ppl cing it wise u can get clear rings that arent visable unless u stare REALLY hard. and u picking your lip and there being marks there that wont make a deference on if u get it pierced or not. any way hope this helps! and good luck=D
