Pin the what on the what?!?

Thats what I keep getting when I tell everyone that I am not gonna have the traditionl pin the tail on the donkey game at my daughters 1st birthday party. Her theme is butterflies and therefore I decided for all the kids to play Stick the butterfly sticker on the flower instead. I find stickers to be easier than the pins and also it matches with her theme. Alot of people have been criticizing this idea. Any comments/suggestions/opinions on it?

I think it's a precious idea.  At a first birthday, though, not a lot of the guests may be walking, and that may be why you're getting the reaction you're getting.  But I think it'd be fun to do, and you should for sure do it.  :)

the stickers would certainly be way safer for little kids.

I think it is a very nice idea, always better to be original, the same stuff gets kinda boring.
