Piquet safe?

After 6 races Renault can't be satisfied with Jr. and meanwhile have hired Robert

Doornbos for "demo duties" - I say put him in the car immediately and let Jr. drive

the demos ....

Piquet Jr has had a hard start to F1. A bad car and a team mate who is outperforming the car doesn't help.

Piquet needs to concentrate on just finishing the races, he has talent remember how hard he made Hamilton work for the GP2 championship in 2006? He needs a lucky race to boost his crushed confidence.

Renault should let him see the season out before a decision is made either way.

I'm surprised just how poor Piquet is performing, given his record in FRenault, British F3 and GP2.

With Flav as your boss you are always at risk of losing your seat whether you're good or bad, so he really needs a decent GP soon.

Give the guy a break. People put to much pressure on him. Give him 1 year to learn and be hard on him next year. Monaco was not his mistake but that of his team. Only a nutcase puts dry weather tyres on a rookie who is having a hard time in F1. Several other more experienced drivers like Webber and Alonso made mistakes too on those tyres but were lucky they didn't hit any wall.

Sheesh man give the boy a chance.  I disagree.  Nelson has shown spurts of talent. Give the man a break.

Piquet Jr still has a few more races to prove his worth. Otherwise it's bye bye. I'm not sure what's Piquet's problem but I hope he'll be able to do better this weekend. HE is not solely to be blamed  for poor performance. The car is not that fantastic and at times he's had to retire due to mechanical failures

He needs a little more time. Of course, having a two time world champion as your partner, and driving very well isn't helping him either.

He needs a little more time. Besides, he is getting loads of huge pressure! He has to compare against Alonso and his own father. Jr really needs a break from all the pressure.

Sr. must have some dirt on Flavio because I don't know how else Half-Nelson is able to stay on the team this long the way he has been performing. There are a few other drivers around who are more deserving of a seat and would probably perform better as well.
