Pittsburgh Penguins!?

Question

I am from and live in Pittsburgh and I am concerned about what is going on with the Penguins nhl draft. Who is staying for sure and who is going for sure (like Malone is gone for sure I bet) and who may stay but it is possible for them to leave (example Hossa).

How long are some players contracts and which ones are being extended like Fleurys might?

Please help explain some of this stuff to me. People and the Post Gazette keep saying different things.

Ok,

I'll give you all the information I know, and I few of my guesses.....

Marian Hossa...................He is currently in vacation in the Bahamas. He is expected to be back by the end of this week. Expect an answer from him late today or any time tomorrow. Shero sounds very confident that Hoss will accept.

Brooks Orpik....................Ray Shero will be speaking with his agent right before or rigth after the draft. Brooks said he'll take some what of a discount, but he wants a 4-5 year contract. We're hoping everything will be worked out.

Jarkko Ruutu............Shero will be speaking to him as soon as everything is done. They will NOT over pay for him. He is a great player, but he's also easily replaceable.

Ryan Malone...........He's as gone as yesterday. Sorry if that

s not what you want to hear. But his life in Pittsburgh is no more. Watch for him to sign with either Columbus, Minnesota, Phoenix, or Vancouver.
